We are currently seeking a Diploma-qualified Advanced Child Care Educator to join our team on a part time basis at the Shore Early Learning Centre on a full-time temporary contract from mid-April 2026 until the end of 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to work within a supportive and professional early childhood this role you will work closely with the Room Leader and fellow educators to support engaging learning experiences and provide high quality education and care for children aged 35 years.
Our Early Learning Centre operates 8.00am 6.00pm 48 weeks of the year with shifts rostered across these hours. The successful candidate would be required to work either 3-days per week or 2-days per week dependent on candidate preference.
About the role
Advanced Child Care Educators play an important role in supporting the daily operations of the centre. You will:
- Build positive nurturing relationships with children
- Support the delivery of engaging early learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Work collaboratively with educators and room leaders to maintain a positive learning environment
- Contribute to the planning documentation and implementation of the educational program
- Support strong communication and partnerships with families
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming safe and inclusive environment for children and families
- Provide leadership within the room when required including acting as Responsible Person where appropriate
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An ACECQA approved Diploma qualification (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management training
- ACECQA recognised Child Protection training
- A current NSW Working With Children Check
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Demonstrated experience working with children aged 35 years in an early childhood setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive enthusiastic and reliable approach
