As a Security Officer Entry Screening Specialist in Yonkers NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location as an Access Control Officer helping manage entry points monitor activity and support a professional welcoming this role you will remain visible help to deter security-related incidents and provide strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.32 - $19.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with property policies.
• Respond to incidents suspicious activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies common areas parking areas and the exterior perimeter to identify unusual conditions and support security-related operations.
• Maintain accurate activity visitor and incident records and provide clear directions and assistance to occupants and guests as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
