Job Title: Registered Nurse MedSurg / Telemetry (Travel)

Schedule:

• Night Shift
• 12-hour shifts
• 3 shifts per week
• Weekly guaranteed hours

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a MedSurg/Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills experience in acute care settings and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Details:

• 32-bed unit
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Adult and older adult population
• Exposure to trauma cases and acute care treatments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data
• Administer medications including heparin drips and other acute treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Utilize specialized equipment such as gait belts geriatric chairs and PT equipment
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Proven experience in MedSurg/Telemetry
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings
• Prior NICHE training (preferred)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
