Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be required regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position it is anticipated that following conclusion of the transaction you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes programs policies and benefit that case details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Job Overview

This role sits within the HR Operations pillar and is executionfocused ensuring accurate timely and compliant delivery of core employee lifecycle processes. The HR Digital Data & Operations Manager leads operational teams responsible for Workday Data Management (WDM) Exit Management and Global Data Operations (GDO).

This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity enabling workforce decisions and delivering a consistent employee experience across regions. The role is ideal for a people leader who thrives in highvolume operations values precision and drives continuous improvement through disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HR Operations teams supporting Workday data management including mass uploads data corrections and ongoing employee record maintenance.
  • Oversee exit management processes ensuring timely accurate execution of employee separations in compliance with policy legal and payroll requirements.
  • Ensure endtoend execution of Global Data Operations (GDO) activities with a strong focus on data accuracy audit readiness and service level adherence.
  • Partner closely with HR COEs Payroll Legal and regional HR teams to resolve complex data or lifecycle issues.
  • Monitor operational performance using defined KPIs SLAs and quality metrics; drive corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes reduce rework and increase efficiency within HR Operations.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls data privacy standards and global HR governance requirements.
  • Coach develop and engage team members to build strong operational capability and succession.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree required (Human Resources Business Administration or related field).
  • Advanced degree or HR certification preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 68 years of progressive experience in HR Operations HR Shared Services or datadriven HR roles.
  • 2 years of people management experience in an operational or shared services environment.
  • Handson experience with Workday particularly employee data transactions and mass data loads.
  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes including onboarding job changes and exits.
  • Proven ability to manage highvolume detailoriented work with accuracy and consistency.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting global or regional HR operations in a matrixed organization.
  • Exposure to data governance audit support or compliancedriven HR environments.
  • Experience driving process improvement using Lean standard work or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Prior experience working in a shared services or HR operations hub model.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and operational execution skills.

Other:

  • Language: Proficiency in English required; additional languages a plus.
  • Travel: Minimal; primarily local or regional as needed (<10%).
  • Certifications: Workday or HR Operations certifications preferred but not required.
