Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Newmarket

Salary: Up to 65000 per annum (DOE) 5000 welcome bonus up to 10000 annual bonus
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Full-time
Employment Type: Permanent

Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: Young people aged 1218 with complex mental health needs including risk of self-injurious behaviours
Qualifications Required: Level 3 in Childrens Residential Care (essential); Level 5 in Leadership & Management (preferred or must enrol within 6 months)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in residential childcare including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years

Who we are looking for:
Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist 2-bed home supporting young people with complex mental health needs.

You will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing staff team

  • Create and oversee tailored care plans covering therapeutic educational and emotional needs

  • Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team including clinicians and education staff

  • Ensure high standards of care aligned with Ofsted and regulatory frameworks

  • Manage safeguarding concerns complaints and risk effectively

  • Drive positive outcomes and safe transitions for young people

Experience working with mental health trauma or high-risk behaviours is highly desirable. Understanding of the Mental Health Act is beneficial.
