Talent Acquisition Manager Shared Service Center
Job Summary
This is a permanent employment position with expectation of working at onsite.
The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for building leading and strategic oversight of the recruitment function within the newly established HR Shared Service Center in Katowice. This role will design the recruitment SSC strategy design the operating model build the entire TA team and lead the function from initial setup through transition and into fully operational. As a peer to the HR Operations Manager the role plays a critical leadership position in building the Katowice hub from the ground up and ensuring sustainable service delivery across European markets.
1. Strategic Leadership & Team Management
- SSC Strategic Planning & Oversight: Lead the strategic planning design and oversight of the Talent Acquisition team within the HR Shared Service Center ensuring alignment with global HR strategy and regional business needs.
- Team building & People Leadership: Recruit onboard and develop the entire TA team in Katowice providing mentorship performance management and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a senior partner to European Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to define workforce planning and recruitment strategies and ensure effective service delivery.
2. TA Process Ownership & Excellence
- Process Design: Define implement and continuously improve the recruitment processes across European markets ensuring consistency scalability and a high-quality candidate experience.
- ATS & Tech Stack: Oversee the implementation and optimization of recruitment technologies (e.g. Workday SmartRecruiters) ensuring data integrity and advanced reporting capabilities.
- Employer Branding: Develop and execute local and regional employer branding initiatives to attract top talent to the new SSC.
3. Transition & Operational Integration
- Migration Support: Partner with the Transition Lead to migrate recruitment processes from local entities to the SSC ensuring effective Knowledge Transfer documentation (SOPs) and operational readiness.
- SLA/KPI Accountability: Establish and monitor recruitment metrics (Time-to-Hire Quality-of-Hire Cost-per-Hire) to ensure the team meets service delivery standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement in the hiring process including innovative sourcing strategies and process optimisaiton.
Qualifications :
- Experience: Minimum 810 years in Talent Acquisition with at least 35 years in a leadership role within an international Shared Service Center (SSC/GBS) environment is mandatory.
- Expertise: Proven track record of managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Languages: Excellent command of English (C1); fluency in other European languages (e.g. German French) is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in HRIS/ATS platforms (SmartRecruiters Workday) and MS Office suite.
- Competencies: * Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on operational approach.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills suited for senior international stakeholders.
- Resilience and the ability to build processes from scratch in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
