The Role:

Were looking for a passionate and curiousSenior HR Business Partner to join our team. What Youll Do:

• Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers to understand their business objectives and develop and shape HR strategies to support them.

• Provide guidance and advice to senior leaders and managers on HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.

• In coordination with leaders support organizational changes from design to implementation anticipating future organization needs and advising and facilitating decision making.

• Develop implement and facilitate HR programs and initiatives to support employee engagement retention and development.

• Deploy the different annual HR cycles such as performance reviews promotion salary review goal setting etc.

• Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.

• Partner with the talent acquisition team to identify and recruit top talent to meet the organizations business needs.

• Facilitate the performance management process including goal setting performance reviews and development plans.

• Coach on effective leadership and management practices challenging and influencing decision making as needed.

• Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and advice on conflict resolution and employee discipline.

Who You Are:

• Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field or Bachelors degree with significant HR experience

• 8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner; large organization experience preferred

• Experience in the Biotech industry is a plus

• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations particularly in Washington state

• Experience creating HR policies and procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders

• Strong analytical skills and ability to use HR metrics and data to drive decision-making

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Strong coaching and mentoring skills

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $134000 to $154000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
