Job Summary

40.25 hours Full time
4 on 4 off 17:00-05:00
18.05 per hour
The role:
Site Shunters allocate bays for vehicles and trailers for unloading and loading log and record trailer movements on and off-site and coordinate all trailer requirements with the warehouse and transport.
As a Site Shunter at NEXT youll be responsible for making sure the Drivers follow site procedures including choking parking coupling and uncoupling and monitor the yard area to safeguard pedestrians.
What youll take on:
As a Site Shunter you will work closely with the warehouse and transport teams
- to ensure the timely and safe tipping of stock
- Understand despatch and loading requirements and allocate bays to ensure we meet deadlines
What youll bring:
- Class 1 C&E licence and CPC card
- Maximum of 6 points on licence
- Minimum 1 year LGV driving experience
- Shunting experience preferred
- Team-player who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills
