The Technical Support Engineer serves as the primary technical contact for our customers combining strong technical expertise with effective coordination communication and ownership of support cases. The role involves diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical issues ensuring structured follow-up and collaborating with the service department when on-site intervention is required. This position plays a key role in delivering efficient high-quality technical support and an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities
- Take full ownership of support tickets: intake assessment follow-up and resolution or escalation
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams ensuring clear and proactive communication
- Perform initial technical evaluations to determine appropriate next steps
- Prepare work instructions and technical input for the service department when on-site service is needed
- Participate in 24/7 support rotation ensuring reliable customer assistance outside regular hours
- Monitor and follow up on ongoing cases to ensure progress in line with SLAs
- Provide advanced remote support using diagnostic tools and data analysis to identify troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Service Engineering Sales Support) to maintain alignment and deliver consistent service
Qualifications
- Background from electrical engineering software or other technical disciplines with relevant work experience and education from technical college university or through vocational training (fagbrev)
- Maritime experience or industry knowledge preferrable expertise in fishing or offshore systems/equipment
- Familiarity with technical coordination customer support or service planning is a strong advantage
- Ability to manage multiple support cases simultaneously and communicate effectively across departments
