Take your career to the next level with Maersk in Italy

Our Pathways of the Future Graduate Program produces professionals capable of meeting international challenges in a wide range of Supply Chain matters. This 20-months program consists of rotational assignments in all our main departments combined with online and on-the-job training in operations customer service sales and products depts.

To be successful in this role we will offer you a wide range of learning and training opportunities and tools. As an example you will attend the global onboarding plan and will be assigned a buddy that will accompany you throughout the journey.

You will also undertake a cross-departmental mission-based project allowing you to build people-related and functional skills.

As part of our Pathways of the Future Graduate Program you will:

  • be responsible for working on diverse assignments in within our departments facing customers and collaborating with global peers.
  • join a structured career development plan receiving coaching and mentoring and on-the job learning to create opportunities for your career acceleration.
  • be attending a significant and customized supply-chain training curriculum.
  • network regionally and cross-functionally interacting with peers in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a strong interest in logistics supply chain forwarding
  • higher education diploma in Supply Chain Logistics Economics Business Administration International Relations or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Have a maximum of two years work experience post-degree
  • Be fluent in Italian and English (oral and written) and have effective communication skills
  • Be geographically mobile in Italy (locations vary)
  • Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying without sponsorship

We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for this role we can offer a full-time role with flexible working arrangements such as adjusted working hours and other alternative working patterns.

Location: The position is placed in Italy in Genoa or Milan office.

Other information: The program is associated with an apprenticeship contract. According to Italian law eligible candidates are those under 30 years of age or NASPI.
