As an Inbound-Inside SalesRepresentative with FCX Performance/Massey you will establish and expand relationships with current customers and ouroutside salesteam. Youll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their processflow controlneeds while providing solutions to meet those needs. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Sell company products and services to customers by processingorders price and delivery inquiries providing technical and application information soliciting customerordersand suggesting additional products in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.
Maintains responsibility ofordersfrom quotation to collection:
Select and specify a variety of products utilizing a variety of FCX and vendor supplied tools/software.
Responds to customer inquiries.
Processes customersordersand send order acknowledgements.
Review customer purchaseordersfor specialconditions/documentation
Checks availability and verifies ship dates.
Increases order size by suggesting related items explaining features and checking customers buying history.
Processes and expeditesorders customer returns and returns tovendorsin an accurate and timely manner. Locates product and creates purchaseorders. Follows-up withvendorsto ensure timely delivery.
Negotiates pricing and delivery withvendorswhen necessary.
Works closely with Outside Salesman in soliciting business executing order transactions and maintainingsuperior customer servicelevels.
Communicates effectively and participates positively as a member of the Branch/Divisioninside salesteam (e.g. sharing work load when possible picking incoming phone calls etc.)
Maximizesgross marginby ensuring that FCX gets paid for superior service problem solving andtechnical expertise.
Reviews open customer order reports and takes action on open items; specifically those items that may be atriskin meeting the customers promised delivery date.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
PreferredEducation/Experience:
Bachelors Degreepreferred.
1-3 years experience inCustomer Servicerelated Industry preferred experience in anInsideTechnical Sales/Customer Servicerole with anIndustrialDistributor a plus.
