Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of personal insurance clients by providing prompt professional and personalized service.
- Conduct thorough reviews of clients insurance policies and identify opportunities for coverage enhancements or cost savings.
- Build lasting client relationships through regular communication consultations and follow-ups.
- Process policy renewals endorsements cancellations and changes ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a strong customer-centric approach.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms coverage and pricing on behalf of clients.
- Educate clients on available insurance products and ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of their policy options.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulations and new insurance products to provide informed recommendations.
- Contribute to team initiatives to enhance customer experience and strengthen operational efficiency.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or related role in the insurance industry specifically in personal lines insurance.
- Current and valid insurance license (or the ability to obtain one within a designated timeframe).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using insurance management software and standard office applications (e.g. MS Office).
- Ability to analyze client needs and present tailored insurance solutions effectively.
- A positive attitude and resilience in handling challenging situations.
- Associate or bachelors degree is preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
