As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in East Syracuse NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and our agile reliable and innovative team you will put people first support daily operations and act with integrity while making a meaningful impact every shift.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access control practices and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas warehouses parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify visitor vendor and/or contractor access as directed by site policies and report suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Support daily operations by observing workplace conditions reporting hazards maintenance issues and/or policy concerns and assisting with orderly response during operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
