• Working as Head Chef overseeing multiple Port Macquarie sites
• Generally expected to work weekdays (with some exceptions where necessary)

The Position

• Food preparation cooking and presentation of all food offerings
• Ensure daily adherence to safety and hygiene processes to maintain a safe allergen-aware environment that meets food safety standards and accommodates diverse customer needs including texture-modified foods.
• Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
• Provide exceptional customer service for residents and their families
• Building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships to achieve our partnership objectives
• Working as Head Chef overseeing multiple Port Macquarie sites including Residential Aged Care sites Early Childhood Centres and Cafes
• The role will report into and work alongside our Key Account Manager to achieve all culinary and financial objectives of the contract.
• Additionally working with our Resident Liaison Manager you will develop promotional special event and theme days aimed at enhancing lifestyle of our onsite residents.

The Person

• Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities collaborative management skills and a passion for food
• Experience in HACCP food safety and infection control
• Confident in using Microsoft Office including excel and emails as well as a variety of technology devices applications and platforms
• Proactive and solution-oriented with a positive leadership style adaptable open to feedback and excellent at time management in dynamic environments.
• Cert. III Commercial Cookery
• Food safety Supervisory certificate
• National Police Check
• Working With Children Check
