Summary of the Role
This positionis responsible fora variety of tasks that aremanufacturingor distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders picking productsfrom the warehouse shipping and receiving and cross-training for multiple roles in the warehouse. Additional training provided to expand skills.
Responsibilities
Mustmaintain100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
Assembles products to companycustomerand manufacturers standards
Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction
Receives incoming shipments into inventory posts in onlinesystemand places items in warehouse
Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping
Deliversproduct as
Operates mechanical equipment hand tools forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable)
Assistswith physical inventory
Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements
Perform other related duties as trained and qualified for
Skills and Abilities
Applicants shouldpossess excellent customer service skills andthe ability to interact with team members in a professional manner
Must haveexcellent communicationskills both written and oral;
Requires basic math skills including addition subtractionmultiplicationand division in units of measure
Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools
Basic computer skills preferred including email and internet
Minimum Qualifications
Must be21years of age or older
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment
3-5 years of related warehousing or production experience
A high school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation isa must
Ability to work overtime as
Ability to work nights and weekends as
Background checks and drug screening may be(by Company Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment asorpermittedby law)

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position is based in a production and warehouse setting which may involve exposure to a range of environmental conditions. These include fluctuating temperatures (both hot and cold) varying noise levels exposure to dust and other typical elements of an active industrial environment.Reasonable accommodations are available to support individuals with disabilities in performing the essential functions of this role.
Ability to pull push grasp bend lift and carry up to 50lbsindependently on a repeated basis.Heavier items may be moved with team assistance or mechanical aid.
Ability to move freely throughout the job site including on occasional uneven surfaces for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Ability to work at varying work-surface levels and machine operation heights.
Ability to move above or below workstations or retrieve items from various heights.
Ability to ascend and descend ladders or stairs as.
Ability tocomprehendand follow instructions and safety procedures.
Ability tocomprehenddocuments such as safety rulesoperatingand maintenance instructions inventory sheets and procedure manuals.
Ability to count measure and record data accurately.
Ability to respond to safety signals alarms and verbal instructions.
Ability to inspect products and materials to detect imperfections defects or irregularities and ensure quality and compliance.
Ability toproperly and safely use mechanical equipment and tools including forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery (training and certification may be required).
Ability to enter and exit a service vehicle and other mechanical equipment multiple times per day.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves safety glasses steel-toed footwear hearing protection or hard hats depending on task or site conditions.
