Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician for a long-term direct hire role with a restoration construction company located in Vancouver OR. The person in this position will inspect water damage set-up equipment and repair damage.

Pay: $22-$27/hr

Water Mitigation Technician Responsibilities:

Inspect water damage in commercial and residential properties.
Set-up the appropriate amount of equipment to properly dry the area.
Remove affected materials when deemed unsalvageable.
Work with the client to explain the situation and what you have done to stop the immediate threat and advise them of the next steps.
Work within a team to complete necessary repairs.
Document accordingly.
Travel to work sites throughout the SW WA and Portland Metro area.

Water Mitigation Technician Qualifications:

Prior experience as a water mitigation technician preferred. Construction experience required.
WRT Certified within 6 months of start date (company will cover cost).
Willingness to be on-call one week a month (will be compensated $200/week on call additionally).
Ability to Lift 80 pounds.
2 years of construction experience.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Communicate with clients residents and colleagues
