Senior Marketing Data Scientist

Team Red Dog is hiring a Senior Marketing Data Scientist for our client a data and analytics this role youll own marketing analytics across campaign performance attribution modeling and funnel optimizationconnecting spend and impressions to user acquisition engagement and monetization outcomes. Youll use SQL Python and large-scale data platforms to turn complex data into clear actionable insights that influence growth strategy and budget decisions. This is a high-impact position where strong analytical thinking and the ability to drive stakeholder decisions are equally critical.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

1. Marketing Analytics & Attribution Experience analyzing digital marketing performance building attribution models and evaluating campaign effectiveness across channels.
2. SQL & Python Strong hands-on experience querying large datasets building models and performing advanced analysis to generate actionable insights.
3. Data Platforms (Databricks Preferred) Experience working with modern data environments to process analyze and scale large datasets.
4. Stakeholder Communication Proven ability to present insights influence decisions and translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations.

Opportunity Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to directly influence how marketing investments drive growth for a globally recognized gaming platform. Youll partner closely with Marketing Finance and Product teams to build measurement frameworks evaluate campaign performance and uncover new opportunities for user acquisition and retention. The work is highly visible and plays a key role in shaping strategic decisions around marketing spend and long-term growth.

How you will make an impact:
Analyze digital marketing campaigns to measure performance ROI and user engagement outcomes
Build and refine attribution models to connect marketing inputs to downstream business results
Conduct campaign post-mortems and deliver insights to improve future performance
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define KPIs and measurement strategies
Develop segmentation frameworks and marketing funnels to better understand user behavior
Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable reporting and automation solutions
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders influencing marketing and budget decisions
Support experimentation and identify new opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness

The expertise you bring:
810 years of experience in data science marketing analytics or related fields
Strong experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and modeling
Proven background in digital marketing analytics and campaign measurement
Experience working with large-scale data platforms (Databricks preferred)
Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline concepts
Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related technical field
