Job Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning and decision-making within Meyer Plastics Inc a plastics manufacturing organization. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing costs forecasting financial performance and providing insights to improve efficiency and profitability across production supply chain and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data including production costs raw materials and operational expenses
- Prepare budgets forecasts and financial reports
- Monitor cost performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Support pricing strategies by analyzing margins and market trends
- Partner with production procurement and sales teams to align financial goals
- Evaluate capital investments (equipment tooling machinery)
- Track inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Develop financial models to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Present findings and recommendations to management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling pivot tables etc.)
- Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
