ABOUT THE JOB

• You will own financial analyses that underpin major R&D initiatives around Anduril as well as existing products and businesses
• You will partner with leadership and teams from across the business to translate engineering problems into quantitative measures and partial solutions (with a financial lens)
• Your work will vary from quick-turn analytical problem solving to process and data improvements and building out financial models

WHAT YOULL DO

• Own projects end-to-end from Definition Solution to Implementation. You will behanded ambiguous messy problems with little prescription on how to solve them.
  • Execute scrappy analyses on short timelines to get answers quickly whilealso owning more scalable solutions that will make Anduril successful inthe long term
  • Project manage across many stakeholders. If you dont like being theperson leading meetings with large groups of people or managing largeSlack channels to wrangle stakeholders towards a solution this may not bethe role for you
  • Work across functions and learn Andurils business top-to-bottom. You willinteract with Finance Engineering Supply Chain Manufacturing andmore
• Own detailed financial models end-to-end from on-the-ground gathering of datathrough creating materials to presenting them to stakeholders
  • Build P&L models for different products business lines divisions andacquisitions
  • Build novel financial frameworks for thinking through operationaldecisions including but not limited to facilities manufacturing supplychain etc.
• Create novel frameworks for establishing a strong value engineering muscle
  • Establish transparency into material cost for existing and future Andurilproducts
  • Build financial models that help set material cost targets for differentproducts
  • Work with the Engineering and Supply Chain teams to develop andimplement cost reduction roadmaps
  • Help executives think through tradeoffs in product features vs. costs
• Red-Team engineering plans from a financial / business perspective

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• You have 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing finance engineering finance or in a finance role at a high growth hardware company
• You have a strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts
• You have strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers
• You are able to quickly execute analyses in Excel
• You have an ability to quantify complex often ambiguous problems
• You are willing to learn how to use corporate systems (e.g. Salesforce Coupa Anaplan) and analytic / dashboarding tools (e.g. Palantir Foundry)
• You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership
• You enjoy working at a place where no one minds if you leave early one day to go to an appointment or run an errand but you also dont mind responding to Slacks in the evening while youre watching Netflix
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
