The PEI Brewing Company Taproom & Events team hasestablished themselves as industry leaders in full-service catering on PEIproducing special experiences at the PEI Brewing Company (PEIBC) multipleoff-site catering the Cavendish Beach Music Festival and the Sommo Festival. As the Head Chef You Will
- Demonstrate and communicate vision and culinary concepts to all team members
- Ensuring team members provide a memorable guest experience through coaching and fostering a positive working culture by reinforcing the MHG Values
- Demonstrate and promote a kitchen culture that revolves around the enjoyment of cooking food and working as a team
- Put forth an influential presence in the kitchen which fosters growth learning and development
- Work with the management team to meet all projected goals when it comes to cost waste and labour control
- Oversee ordering of inventory and daily prep work
- Responsible for completing weekly inventory
- Recipe and menu development and input into the inventory system Optimum Control recipe development budgeting and scheduling.
- Work on the line with team members maintaining a high level of food quality
- Oversees kitchen operations food safety and cleanliness maintenance of the MHG Food Trailer used for offsite catering.
- Working with prospective clients on tasting menus for weddings events etc.

- Passionate about the culinary experience and the Hospitality industry
- Works calmly under pressure delegates tasks and provides direction as needed to team members
- Works well with others enjoys teaching team members and helps grow and develop top-line talent
- A desire for personal and professional development
What You Bring
- Applicants must have 3 years of experience cooking in a full-service high-volume restaurant
- 2 years of previous experience in back-of-house management experience considered an asset
- A culinary diploma or degree is considered an asset
