Job Duties
Provides clerical and administrative support to Probation and Parole Services staff by keying reports and correspondence from draft maintaining files greeting and assisting visitors and callers. Performs keyboarding duties entering data in agency data systems and fiscal support duties.
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will have experience providing administrative and clerical support in a professional office environment including data entry filing preparing correspondence and managing a variety of office tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong keyboarding skills proofreading ability and the capacity to work efficiently in a busy office while meeting deadlines are essential. Applicants must demonstrate dependable customer service experience proficiency with MS Office applications and recent use of standard office equipment including multiline telephones.
Additional Considerations
Advanced knowledge training or coursework in office administration or related training is preferred. Experience working with a casemanagement or automated database as well as administrative experience in a criminal justice court or law office setting
