  • Contour Education: Reshaping how students master their high school subjects with small-group tutoring structured resources and 1-on-1 support across Maths Science and English.
  • Contour Medprep: Reshaping medical preparation with a proven step-by-step pathway through the UCAT interviews and admissions led by a team of 100 medical students.
  • Contour TestPrep: Reshaping test preparation starting with the selective entry exam through rigorous tutoring mock exams and data-driven feedback to give students a decisive advantage.

What You Will Do

Reporting directly to the CEO this is an elevation and architecture role. A capable sales function already exists. Your job is to take it to the next level putting the infrastructure systems and commercial rigour underneath a talented function of 20 so they can operate at national scale.

Enrolment and Revenue Ownership

  • Own the full-funnel revenue number across all entities (Education MedPrep TestPrep) and interstate expansion enquiry to trial trial to enrolment. This is your KPI.
  • Build the forecasting and pipeline management discipline that gives Contours leadership real-time visibility into where revenue is tracking weekly.
  • Stand up Revenue Operations as a capability: pipeline reporting conversion analytics CRM data quality standards and the operating cadence that ties the function to real numbers.
  • Act as the primary sales stakeholder for the HubSpot CRM migration (already underway) defining requirements adoption standards and the reporting layer on top.

Sales Enablement and Methodology

  • Design the sales methodology playbooks and collateral that make a great rep repeatable and a new rep productive faster. At Contour selling is educating: helping families understand whats possible and matching students to the program that delivers genuine outcomes.
  • Build the coaching and training infrastructure that moves the function from apprenticeship to system.
  • Define and operationalise the quality standards for every family interaction: trials consultations follow-ups and handovers. Every touchpoint should reflect the genuine student outcomes Contour delivers not just close a deal.

Function and Leadership Development

  • Lead a function of approximately 20 including a Group Sales Manager a Team Leader Senior Reps and Reps.
  • Partner closely with the Group Sales Manager to build the leadership layer beneath you. This is a high-performing operator ready to grow your role is to develop and elevate them.
  • Build the performance management rhythm: targets reporting accountability recognition. Make it feel like a system not a personality.

Cross-functional Partnership

  • Partner with the VP of Customer Success & Support to design the Sales-to-CS handover. What Sales promises and what CS delivers must be the same thing.
  • Work with Marketing to close the loop between campaign activity lead quality and conversion outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Experience Officer to ensure the sales process reflects the Contour brand and that every family who enrols does so with a clear understanding of the student outcomes they can expect.


What You Will Bring

  • 5 years in a VP of Sales or equivalent revenue leadership role with a track record of owning not just influencing a revenue number.
  • Proven experience scaling a sales function not just running one. Youve built the infrastructure the methodology and the reporting in environments where they didnt fully exist understanding that in education the best sales teams dont persuade they consult. Youve built environments where reps succeed by deeply understanding what families need not by applying pressure.
  • Systems thinker. Pipeline stages conversion metrics forecasting models comp structures you build the architecture that makes great consultative conversations repeatable.
  • People leader. Youve led functions of 15 managed through a leadership layer and developed managers who became better because of you.
  • CRM fluent: youve defined pipeline stages data standards and the reporting layer not just used the tool. HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Executive presence. You can hold a revenue number in front of a CEO tell the truth about whats driving it and arrive with a plan when its off track.

Bonus: Experience in education professional services or high-consideration family decision environments. Multi-entity or interstate operational experience. Commission and incentive structure design.
