Team Overview
Our People Experience (PX) team leads PowerSchools human-resources function equipping and encouraging PowerSchoolers to reach their potential while driving business results. The PX team manages the organizations global workforce infrastructure; supports the overall employee experience; and attracts develops and retains talent.
Responsibilities
PX Business Partners help align the organizations people strategy with our overall business strategy. They partner with senior leadership through specialized knowledge that helps create policies and programs in line with our goals and objectives.
The People Experience Business Partner supports core people processes and helps deliver a positive employee experience across designated teams. This role provides daytoday HR support coordinates programs and partners with senior PX team members to ensure smooth execution of people-related activities. While not yet operating as a strategic advisor this role contributes to meaningful people initiatives ensures accurate process administration and strengthens employee engagement through effective communication coordination and problemsolving.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- People Process Support
- Assist with the execution of HR processes such as onboarding performance cycles engagement programs and data updates.
- Help gather information for workforce planning or organizational updates under guidance from senior PXBPs.
- Employee Experience & Engagement
- Respond to employee questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
- Support engagement recognition and inclusion initiatives through logistics coordination and communications.
- Change Support
- Coordinate communications and training materials for change initiatives led by senior PXBPs.
- Help monitor adoption and gather feedback from employees.
- Talent Development Coordination
- Partner with Learning & Development to schedule sessions manage attendance and track completion.
- Support career development resources by helping gather data or employee feedback.
- Performance & Culture Enablement
- Assist in administering performance management tools and reminders.
- Reinforce company values by helping prepare culturerelated content resources or events.
- Data & Reporting
- Run basic reports from HRIS systems and update dashboards as requested.
- Maintain accuracy of people data and support metrics tracking (e.g. turnover engagement headcount).
- Employee Relations Support
- Document employee relations cases and assist with scheduling followup and policy lookups.
- Escalate complex concerns to senior PXBPs or PX leadership.
- CrossFunctional HR Coordination
- Partner with COEs by sharing data preparing materials and ensuring consistent communication across PX teams.
- Support global initiatives by coordinating deliverables and tracking status.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant and related work experience.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Travel occasionally up to 5-10% for key moments such as team summits training conferences etc. with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.
- Experience coordinating HR programs or supporting HR operations preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational understanding of HR processes (onboarding performance employee relations basics).
- Ability to learn HRIS and analytics tools; comfort running standard reports.
- Awareness of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to build relationships and provide helpful timely support.
- Comfortable working in dynamic ambiguous environments with guidance.
- Mindset & Approach
- Curious eager to grow and open to feedback.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $67300 - $84100 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicants skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures degrees and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
