Job Summary
Role Objective
Build and scale a high-velocity trading book across aluminium (ingots billets wire rods) and copper (cathodes wire rods) with a focus on fast capital rotations (37 days) strong industrial customer networks and disciplined risk-controlled execution.
Key Responsibilities
Build and expand regional and pan-India customer base across extruders cable transformer auto electrical OEMs and packaging sectors
Execute import (LME-linked) and domestic arbitrage trades across aluminium and copper
Maintain back-to-back or semi-covered positions with minimal open exposure
Work on LME pricing conversion spreads and fixed-margin opportunities
Structure low-risk high-rotation deals with strong capital efficiency
Ensure strict risk discipline with no speculative exposure; coordinate with centralized hedging where applicable
Drive fast collections and tight working capital cycles
Track LME trends premiums and metal demand cycles to identify trading opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
03 years of experience in non-ferrous / primary metals trading (freshers welcome)
Exposure to aluminium copper or cable/electrical ecosystem is a plus
Strong sales negotiation and relationship-building skills
Commercial mindset with high ownership and execution bias
Hustler mindset with high ambition and willingness to work in a field-driven role
Comfortable with extensive travel
