The BioProduction Group (BPG) enables our customers to create and deliver life-changing therapies by accelerating research development and production of biopharmaceuticals. Location:

This is a field sales position covering a Maryland Virginia and Delaware territory. Given the concentration of clients residency in Maryland is required. Relocation assistance is not provided.

DESCRIPTION

Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Technical Sales Specialist Cell Culture BioProduction where youll support revenue growth and customer success across our innovative product this role youll apply your technical expertise and consultative sales approach to identify opportunities build strong customer relationships and deliver solutions that enable groundbreaking scientific advances. Working with cross-functional teams youll provide technical leadership in customer engagements conduct product demonstrations and serve as a trusted advisor to help customers achieve their research and development goals. Your contributions will directly support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of technical sales experience in life sciences analytical instruments or related Field Application Experience experience; Masters Degree preferred
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences Chemistry Engineering or related scientific field
  • Strong technical understanding of relevant scientific workflows and applications
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Expert presentation and communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Success in consultative selling and complex sales cycles
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Proven relationship building and networking capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Ability to travel up to 50- 75% (3 out of 5 days of the week) within assigned territory
  • Bilingual skills preferred
  • Deep knowledge of specific product technologies and workflows as required by position
  • Experience presenting at scientific conferences and trade shows
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving capabilities
  • Ability to develop and implement territory plans
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions
  • Experience supporting and developing other team members
  • Strong customer service focus

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $113000.00$155000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
