JMT Consultants Detailing Private Limited is a Global leading steel detailing engineer and API development firm seeking an Estimator to join our dedicated team.

We are seeking a skilled motivated Estimator to join our growing team. They will have the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions to ensure project timelines are met. You must have a keen attention to detail and skills at estimating projects from a comprehensive view to set our clients expectations accurately.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or assist in completing budgetary and final estimating of scopes of work

• Read blueprints and analyze all other applicable documents to prepare estimates

• Use knowledge to focus work and drive short and long-term solutions

• Assess projects by identifying project requirements regarding time labor and material costs

• Responsible for detailed cost estimates and qualification development for bid proposals

• Perform detailed structural and miscellaneous take-offs

• Collaborate with contractors engineers and architects during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy

• Present estimates to clients in a timely and polite manner

• Other projects as assigned

• Assist with Project Controls (Schedule/Cost control)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be proficient with MS Office especially Excel

• Tekla Powerfab or Fabsuite experience is an asset but not

• Work experience in tilt panels manufacturing facilities and schools is an asset but not

• Must have a minimum of three years experience specifically in estimating steel detailing projects

• Must have experience in reading US design drawings

• Interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal are
  

• Critical thinking analytical and organizational skills
