Flight Line Team Lead

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Flight Line Team Lead to join our team in North Charleston South Carolina on 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing

• Assists in troubleshooting pneumatic hydraulic electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and assists in repairing faulty components

• Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions

• Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products

• Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection

• Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery

• Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives

• Plans schedules and arranging own activities with the assistance of lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston SC (BSC)

Aerospace Technician and Mechanic Aptitude Virtual Job Tryout: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of aerospace manufacturing or fabrication experience

• 1 year of formal or informal leadership experience

• 1 year of 787 program operations experience

• 1 year of avionics and/or electrical experience

• 1 year of experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations

• 1 year of experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk

• 1 year of experience with Field/Flight Line Operations

• Ability to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license

• Familiarity with Boeing Production System
