Job Summary

Collaborate with the Vice President Sr. Director Clinical Director Physicians and clinical staff to manage assess and enhance the provision of patient care services within any patient care unit within Patient Care Services on a 24/7 basis to meet continuous quality improvement customer service programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Childrens Hospital. Monitor staffing plans and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.

This role will also lead special business projects by executing administrative direction and assigned duties to optimize clinical operations or hospital-wide initiatives. Provide peer leadership coverage by serving as the primary leadership point of contact and providing operational coverage for other Clinical Practice Managers (CPMs) during periods of leave of absence to ensure departmental continuity.


Support administrative strategy by assisting in the development of long-term administrative goals that align with the broader organizational needs and goals. Identifies gains alignment obtains approval and resolution of highly complex or unusual problems and serves as the program director as needed during the planning and implementation of selected strategies and tactics.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of of two (2) years RN leadership experience.

Required Credentials
Current Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN license.A copy of bachelors degree or higher in nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of bachelors degree or higher in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon or healthcare related professional board certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership on hire or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire and must be maintained thereafter. Certification must be recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and approved by Seattle certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. This is a condition of hire and must be maintained at all times. Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers. (Note: Employees are responsible for any costs (including time away from work) associated with obtaining PALS or PEARS certification if it is not a requirement of the position). ACLS will not be accepted as a substitute to the requirements listed above.

Preferred
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN).Organizational business or administrative experience.

Compensation Range

$129992.00 - $194988.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
