The Town of Milford is seeking a part-time HR Assistant for our Human Resource Department. This is a great opportunity for semi-retired or retired individuals or someone looking for part-time mothers hours and a flexible schedule. This individual would work 15-20 hrs/wk and would assist with everything from filing to special projects. Generally hours worked would fall between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Wage range is $22.00-$25.00/hr DOE.
General Duties:
There will be several targeted special projects in year one.
May assist with posting jobs including updating the applicant tracking program.
May assist with onboarding/offboarding employees.
May assist with maintaining the HR portion of the website.
Requirements include:
Prior HR experience (2 years)
Alpha/Numeric accuracy is essential
Computer data entry experience attention to detail necessary
Proficiency with Excel
Must be able to interact well with the public and staff
