Hours Per Week: 40
Schedule:Days 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM every 4 weekends and holiday rotation

SUMMARY

As a Clinical Leader of Long-Term Care your exceptional ability to manage and guide staff keen attention to detail along with your demonstrated empathy for patients makes you a valuable resource for the unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unit & Staff Management. Round on staff and physicians; resolve any issues or concerns found while rounding; complete rounding log and report to Nurse Manager; identify all high risk residents and ensure plan of care is current; ensure appropriate number of staff is available on unit at all times

• Communication & Evaluation. Ensure staff is recognized for hard work and jobs well done; communicate any staffing needs to Nurse Manager; coach staff privately when needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates Degree in Nursing

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors of Nursing

• 2 years RN experience

• Experience with frail elderly/geriatric population

PAY RANGE:

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience relevant qualifications specialty internal equity location and contracts.
