Huntington Ingalls Industries Mission Technologies division is seeking a Strike Group Operations Watch Director and LVC Mission Coordinator to support Fleet Operations on the Southern California Tactical Training Range (SCTTR).
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Integrated and Sustainment Phase Training requirements for naval forces assigned to Commander U.S. THIRD Fleet along with indepth knowledge of Surface Subsurface and Air Warfare exercise requirements. Candidates should have senior staff-level supervisory experience as an exercise planner and be familiar with training range operations including the planning and coordination of complex Maritime and Air Defense training exercises.
This position requires strong public speaking and presentation skills as well as a minimum of five years of exercise planning experience at the Fleet Strike Group or Amphibious Ready Group staff level. Subject matter expertise in Live Virtual and Constructive (LVC) exercise implementation and execution is highly preferred.
The role requires flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours and workweeks exceeding 40 hours based on business customer and contractual needs. Duties and responsibilities may be adjusted as necessary to meet evolving mission requirements.
