Aboutthe Opportunity
TheInternQuality Improvement role at MVP Health Careprovidesan opportunity to work with a team of professionals dedicated to improving healthcare quality and outcomes. This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in quality improvement initiatives collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
WhatYoullDo
- Support the development and execution of quality initiatives including research content development followup and coordination
- Collaborate with project and performance managers clinicians and other stakeholders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in meetings and discussions to stay informed on ongoing quality improvement efforts and share knowledge and best practices
- Assistwith measuring analyzing and tracking monthly performance data
- Develop andmaintainSharePoint sites; organize content to support transparency visibility and communication of quality strategy and initiatives across the enterprise
Skills and Experience
Education Licensures & Certifications
- Currentlyenrolled in a degree program related to healthcare public health or a related field
- Prior exposure to health care or public health settings (clinical administrative academic or community health) is strongly desired.
Required Job Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect and analyze data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Demonstrated passion for health care and improving care quality.
- Strong motivation to contribute to projects that improve health care quality and operational effectiveness.
