Job Description:

L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC) is looking for a Sr. Specialist Program Manager to support the Range & Test Solutions business area. The Program Manager will be responsible for the cost schedule and technical performance of assigned programs while achieving key business results and customer satisfaction. It requires planning and managing across multiple functional and geographic areas within a matrix organization.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee all phases of program management from concept to closure

• Develop comprehensive program plans including schedule budgets staffing and other plan elements
• Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives
• Monitor program execution tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary
• Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success
• Act as the primary interface with customers ensuring alignment and satisfaction
• Provide clear concise program status updates to both management and customers
• Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
• Lead proposal preparation to support new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degreein Engineering or related technical disciplineand minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience OR in lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• 5 years experience in different phases of project and program management from proposal and ensuing negotiations through contract award project planning project execution and closeout.
• Up to 20% of travel may be expected.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with aerospace/defense programs in progressively increasing responsible leadership positions. Knowledge with the FBM program would be desired.

• Advanced knowledge and understanding of related methodologies and practices.
• Experience in proposal preparation including developing cost estimates schedules and technical content to support bids and contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management.
• Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application
• The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with a proven track record of directing teams toward successful project outcomes.
• Formal training in Project Management as well as PMP certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including MS Project Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
• An active DoW security clearance is strongly selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoW classified information.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California Massachusetts New Jersey Washington and the Greater D.C Denver or NYC areas is $106500 - $197500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state Cleveland Ohio and Vermont is $92500 - $171500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
