This position requires a professional committed to providing outstanding business systems analysis supporting Corporate Applications Internal/External system feeds to various vendors and data analytics systems. The successful candidate will be a dedicated team-oriented individual with an excellent understanding of investment management industry and the related technology.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Interface with ProjectTeam(s) other BSAs and developers as well as with other technical teams toidentify document and manage the business requirements/specifications for various projectsand support those processes that could be cross functional and technicallycomplex.

  • Responsible and accountable for the business requirements/specifications to be complete correct consistent concise achievable and to obtain sign off from the businessstakeholders.

  • Establish/maintainpartnershipswith business usersin order todetermineoptimalsolutions automationand alternatives for various business and systems needs to ensure clients make informeddecisions.

  • Provide overall business/systemssupport for Production and User Acceptance Test environments.

  • Ensure continued integrity of existing production systems.

  • Ad-hoc reporting for business users.

  • Investigative support for day-to-daysystemand business issues.

  • Provide expert guidance with hands-on help where required to solve complex and challenging business problems to the satisfaction of key stakeholders.

  • Set stakeholder expectations appropriately. Share complex concepts with non- technicalaudiences.

  • Collaborate with project team on issue management and help coordinateresolution.

  • Organize andparticipatein stakeholder meetings

  • Initiate and lead on supportitemsand projects tied to vendors and management surrounding that

  • Chair andfacilitatemeetings whereappropriateand distribute minutes toSupportteam membersand extended business teams

  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings

  • Help to ensure project deadlines are met

  • Undertake projectand supporttasks as

  • Help ensure projectand support taskadheres toJIRAframework and documentation ismaintainedappropriately.

  • Gather stakeholder feedback and document new requirements as user stories in JIRA

  • Help to ensure stakeholder views/expectations are managed

  • Facilitate meetings with thesupport andproject teamsto review/refine JIRA backlog

  • Help define the sprint schedule withsupport/project team

  • Report on weekly targetsanticipatedand existing blockages progress towards project milestones

  • Will function in an agile team environment and may be involved with planning and executing test casesand vendor system upgrades

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Experience

  • 5years experienceasbusiness/systems analyst or business consultant within the Investment Management or Brokerage industry.

Education/Training

  • College/University graduate in Business Administration Computer Science or equivalent.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Extensive experience in business/systems analysis for portfolio management/back-office systems within the Investment Management industry

  • Working experience with Corporate Systemsin Financealong withvendor managementan asset

  • Familiarity with multi-platform environmentssuch as Windows UNIXAmazon AWS Linux/REDHAT.

  • Good knowledge of database designdata mining and querying using SQL

  • Familiar and knowledgeable in Snowflake Databaseswould be an asset

  • Strong knowledge of investment and wealth management functions: portfolio management/administration portfolio modelingperformance accountingperformance reporting/attribution back-officeorderand trade management

  • In-depth understanding of various investment products market practices compliance and regulatory requirements industry trends

  • Ability toconfidently and professionally deal with vendor and employeesat a variety of levels

  • Strong customer service orientationleadershipand decision-making skills

  • Creative adaptable resilient self-directed innovative results oriented

  • Excellent organizationalproblem-solvingand critical thinking skills

  • Superior time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55000 - $95000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience skills education and budget. This role follows our inoffice work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.
