Customer Service Specialist

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers addressing inquiries and resolving complaints to ensure a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills problem-solving abilities and a service-oriented mindset to effectively assist customers across multiple channels.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers via phone email online chat or in person to provide support and product information
• Process and enter customer orders for new or additional products and services
• Address customer questions and concerns escalating complex issues to the appropriate specialist or department
• Ensure timely resolution of customer problems and inquiries
• Maintain customer accounts and interaction records documenting inquiries complaints and comments
• Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills including active listening
• Service-oriented approach with the ability to resolve customer grievances
• Proficiency in computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
