Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
SUMMARY
Provides oversight of RN/ LPN/CNA and secretarial staff in the performance of daily duties. Assists in problems solving to help alleviate clinical issues and processes on the assigned unit. Act as the clinical resource person working as a team with the nurse manager staff and the provider to identify the plan of care for each patient. Supports nurse manager in developing work plans that enable the unit to reach financial/quality/safety/operational targets. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Unit Management. Oversee and assure short-and long-term Nursing Department staff schedules; serve as a clinical resource to staff in problem solving assessment and special procedures; coordinate with the Nursing Staff resident units and admissions department in the rapid admission of residents
Supervision Oversees the dining areas interacting with residents families and staff in providing a safe pleasant mealtime and assure appropriate completion of required records
Patient Care. Facilitate units in emergency medical assessment and care of residents including interventions transportation and other resources as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program
One to three years of nursing experience
Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree
One year of supervisory experience
LT PAC nursing experience

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations including continuing education requirements.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience relevant qualifications specialty internal equity location and contracts.
