School Principal

SUMMARY

Provides leadership and management of a school that is focused on 21^stCentury student learning and achievement relationships and communication and efficient operations. Promotes the success of each student by facilitating the development articulation implementation and stewardship of a 21^stCentury vision of learning that is shared and supported by the school community.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Masters Degree in Educational Administration Educational Leadership Curriculum and Instruction or related field

Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card

Valid Arizona Principal Certificate

Three (3) years teaching experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSConsideration will be given to applicants who explicitly confirm possession of the following preferred qualifications in their resume or application:

Bilingual fluent in reading writing and speaking English and Spanish

2 years of experience in an instructional leadership position such as Instructional Coach Dean of Students Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Facilitator Teacher Mentor Curriculum Service Provider or similar role

1 year of experience teaching Special Education or administering Special Education Programs

1 year of experience teaching English Language Learners (ELL ESL ELD Two-Way Dual Language etc.) or administering Language Acquisition programs

1 year of experience working in a Title1 school

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

SALARY HIRING RANGE:

Elementary Schools: $63748.49 - $74010.03

Middle/K-8 Schools: $68281.32 to $79272.50

High Schools: $78336.85 to $90946.65
