Key Responsibilities:

• Epitaxial Growth:Design and execute MOCVD growth runs for compound semiconductor structures.
• Recipe Optimization:Develop and refine growth recipes to achieve precise thickness control doping profiles and wavelength uniformity across large-diameter wafers.
• Characterization & Analysis:Analyze epi-wafers usingPhotoluminescenceXRDHall Effect andSIMSdata to correlate growth parameters with device performance.
• Hardware Ownership:Manage MOCVD reactor maintenance including seasoning part changes and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Yield Improvement:Drive root-cause analysis for defects and implement process controls to maximize High-Volume Manufacturing yields.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Device Design and Fab teams to translate simulation requirements into tangible epitaxial layers.

Qualifications:

• Education:Masters or Ph.D. in Materials Science Electrical Engineering Physics or a related field.
• Technical Experience:3 years of hands-on experience operating MOCVD systems ().
• Optical Expertise:Specific experience withoptoelectronic devicesand an understanding of Quantum Well structures is highly desirable.
• Data Proficiency:Strong background in statistical process control.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $USD.
