WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As an IAM Product Owner Senior Consultant you will support our clients cybersecurity organization by driving delivery for a rapidly evolving Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) this role you will act as the critical bridge between product strategy and executiontranslating complex identity authentication and security requirements into clear actionable work for agile delivery teams.
You will take ownership of team-level backlog management ensuring that priorities are well-defined dependencies are understood and work is consistently ready for execution. Partnering closely with Product Management Architecture Engineering and Cybersecurity stakeholders you will bring clarity to scope reduce ambiguity and enable predictable delivery across a multi-team program. You will also play a key role in release readiness helping coordinate delivery across teams while ensuring quality risk awareness and alignment with broader platform objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the team-level backlog ensuring alignment with CIAM product strategy and roadmap priorities
- Translate complex identity and cybersecurity requirements into clear testable user stories with defined acceptance criteria
- Ensure backlog items meet a strong Definition of Ready prior to sprint planning
- Maintain prioritization that reflects business value security requirements and cross-team dependencies
- Lead and support agile ceremonies including backlog refinement sprint planning and demos
- Provide clarity on scope boundaries ensuring teams understand what is in and out of scope
- Identify and escalate ambiguity risks and potential scope drift early in the delivery lifecycle
- Track and manage cross-team dependencies ensuring proper sequencing and coordination
- Partner with Program Management to contribute to RAID tracking (risks assumptions issues dependencies)
- Support release planning and coordination ensuring features are well-defined tested and ready for deployment
- Collaborate with Engineering and Cybersecurity teams to validate release readiness including risk mitigation and rollback planning
- Assist in coordinating go/no-go decisions with clear communication of scope risks and known issues
- Support post-release validation and issue resolution to ensure stable and successful deployments

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proven ability to translate technical requirements into actionable backlog items and user stories
- Strong experience writing clear acceptance criteria and ensuring delivery readiness
- Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies and sequencing across multiple teams
- Experience supporting release planning and coordination in multi-team delivery environments
- Experience working in cybersecurity identity (IAM/CIAM) financial services or other regulated industries
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to drive clarity across stakeholders
- Ability to identify risks early and proactively manage delivery challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with CIAM platforms such as Okta Ping Identity or similar solutions
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0 OIDC and SAML
- Experience supporting digital platforms or customer-facing identity systems
- Background working closely with engineering teams supporting prioritization and backlog refinement
- Experience contributing to or supporting large-scale platform or transformation initiatives
WHAT WE OFFER:
- The annual salary range for this role is $130000-$160000.
