WhatYoullDo

The main function of this role will be tosupportactuarial functions withparticularfocus on cost of care analytics forecasting andvalue-basedcontracts.TheActuarial Analystwillexecutework assignmentsusingactuarial and statisticalmethods.This position will report to ourDirector Actuarial.

The Day to Day

• Createsdetailed actuarial and financialmodelsto assess viability of new and ongoing initiatives and clinical programs.
• SupportsMedicare Advantage (MA)bidanalysesfor full risk partnerships.
• Actuarial incurred but not reported (IBNR) accruals and settlements related tovalue-basedcontracts.
• Forecastsand interpretsfinancial results including variances from forecast to helpidentifyproduct and segment behavior toassistin risk management of the business units.
• Collaborates with team members from strategy clinicaland new market functions toidentifydata-drivenopportunities to add value to existing and potential partners.
• Presents models during workgroup calls and explains analyses to diverse audiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degreein Finance or related field.
• 1 years experience in actuarial services or related field.
• Candidates must be on the Actuarial exam track having passed a minimum of two actuarial exams.
• Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.
• Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of analyzing medicalclaim lab dataelectronic medical record (EMR)dataand clinical data.
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.

Annual Salary Range: $70000 - $83000. This position is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 5%

Final compensation will be determined based on location experience and qualifications.
