Position Details:
As part of the Gund Learning and Diagnostics Center team you will report to the Associate Clinical Director and Director Gund Learning and Diagnostics Center. You will provide neuropsychological and psychological evaluation services to children adolescents and young adults. Your evaluations include gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources (e.g. parents teachers children) and using multiple methods (e.g. psychological testing rating scales clinical interview behavioral observation) to answer referral questions. You will communicate results to parents and educators in person and via a comprehensive written report. Additionally you will offer services including remediation organizational skills training and educational consultation. This is an exempt full-time hybrid (this position requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office on a schedule determined by your supervisor in our NYC headquarters office. The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.
You Will:
Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children adolescents and young adults including the use of personality measures and projectives autism evaluations (including the use of the ADOS-2 and ADI-R) early childhood developmental evaluations and evaluations with ID/DD populations.
Provide cognitive remediation organizational skills training and school consultation for children with learning disorders ADHD or other behavior problems.
Advocate for children with accommodation requirements in educational and legal settings.
Collaborate with our clinical colleagues including receiving and providing consultation to support team-based care within our practice.
Provide training or clinical supervision to trainees including psychologists social workers and licensed mental health counselors.
Conduct workshops presentations and webinars on childrens mental health topics for community outreach.
Ensure all clinical documentation requirements are met.
Perform additional job-related duties as needed.
You Have:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology with a focus in neuropsychology from an accredited program.
Current valid unrestricted license to practice psychology in the State of New York.
Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology.
8 years of clinical experience.
Training in specific assessment tools.

Pay Range
The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidates work experience education/training job-related skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role) if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
