Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Adult Psychiatry Psych Float Pool – Full Time – DayNight Shift

Cedar Park Med is hiring experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Adult Psychiatry and the Psych Float Pool for a 13-week assignment with possible extension.

This role is ideal for LPNs with psychiatric experience who are comfortable working in behavioral health settings and supporting patients with a range of mental health needs.

Schedule/Shift info:

• Day shift 7am-7.30pm
• Night shift 7pm - 7.30am
• 13-week assignment (possible extension)
• Every other weekend and some holidays required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an adult psychiatry setting with minimal orientation and supervision
• Monitor patients observe behavior and condition changes and report updates to the care team
• Take and record vital signs patient progress and other clinical information
• Assist with medication administration injections and routine procedures as directed
• Support physicians and nurses with patient care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
• Help maintain safe organized clinical areas and support daily unit workflow
• Communicate effectively with patients families and the interdisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State LPN license
• Current CPR certification or ability to certify/re-certify
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
• Psychiatric experience required
