Are you an experienced payroll professional who thrives on accuracy efficiency and making a real impact Join Health Partners as a Senior Payroll Officer and play a key role in ensuring our people are paid correctly and on timeevery time.

About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll and Reward Manager youll be responsible for the end-to-end processing of our fortnightly payroll ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements while delivering a high standard of service to employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing

  • Manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll with a high level of accuracy

  • Calculate terminations overpayments and underpayments

  • Reconcile payroll and prepare documentation for Finance

  • Process monthly Dental Productivity within deadlines

  • Maintain and update payroll records and systems

  • Ensure compliance with Superannuation PAYG Payroll Tax and WorkCover obligations

  • Support end-of-financial-year payroll processes

Reporting

  • Prepare monthly payroll data and reports

  • Provide fortnightly updates on allowances deductions and leave entitlements

  • Deliver ad hoc reporting as required

Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and queries

  • Identify process improvements and streamline workflows

  • Maintain up-to-date payroll procedures

  • Analyse trends and risks to improve data integrity

Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure adherence to privacy and legislative requirements

  • Identify and escalate risks in line with the organisations framework

  • Support a strong risk and compliance culture

Work Health & Safety

  • Follow WHS policies and procedures

  • Report hazards incidents or unsafe practices

About You

Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven experience in payroll processing (end-to-end)

  • Strong understanding of Awards and payroll legislation

  • Knowledge of ATO requirements including Superannuation PAYG and Payroll Tax

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Experience with payroll systems (Employment Hero desirable)

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications are desirable but we value equivalent experience just as highly.
