About the company

Remote World is partnering with a workflow automation startup helping operations teams reduce manual work a UK-based employer to hire for this role. Their no-code platform lets businesses build internal approval flows and data-routing rules theyve grown from 0 to 2000 customers in 18 months.

The role

Youll build TypeScript across both the React frontend and the backend that powers the automation engine. Working closely with the founding engineering team youll ship new trigger types improve the visual workflow builder and help scale the backend to handle higher volumes.

What youll do

• Build frontend workflow-builder components in React and TypeScript
• Implement new automation triggers and actions in the backend
• Write integration tests against third-party APIs (Slack Salesforce Jira)
• Improve TypeScript types and remove unsafe casts across the codebase
• Contribute to technical documentation for the developer API

What youll need

• Strong TypeScript experience across React and
• Comfortable working in a full-stack TypeScript codebase
• Familiarity with REST and webhook-based integrations
• You write tests and care about type safety
• Good async written communication

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow engines or event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with Zod or other runtime validation libraries
