About the company

Remote World is partnering with a UK B2B media company serving the HR and people management sector a UK-based employer to hire for this role. Their publications events and research reports are read by over 100000 HR professionals monthly and theyre building a content programme to drive subscription and ad revenue.

The role

Youll plan and manage the editorial content programme across newsletters thought-leadership articles and sponsored research reports. Working with the editorial director and commercial team youll commission and edit content manage the publishing calendar and track content performance against audience and revenue targets.

What youll do

• Plan and maintain the editorial content calendar across channels
• Commission and brief freelance writers on thought-leadership pieces
• Edit copy to meet editorial standards and house style
• Track content performance open rates time on page conversion and report weekly
• Support the commercial team with content packaging for advertiser programmes

What youll need

• Experience in a content editorial or communications role
• Strong writing and editing skills you can improve a piece quickly and clearly
• Ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously
• Comfortable with content performance data (GA4 newsletter metrics)
• Good async written communication

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B media trade publishing or professional services content
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress Contentful or similar)
