About the company

Remote World is partnering with a fintech startup helping UK small businesses manage cash flow a UK-based employer to hire for this role. Their app already processes millions in monthly transactions and the engineering team is growing quickly to keep up.

The role

Youll build the React interfaces that business owners use every day to send invoices track payments and monitor their cash position. Working alongside a senior frontend engineer and a product designer youll take Figma designs to production improve performance and contribute to the shared design system.

What youll do

• Build and maintain React and TypeScript components across the main web app
• Translate Figma designs into accessible pixel-perfect UI
• Write unit and integration tests to keep the codebase reliable
• Optimise Core Web Vitals and reduce bundle sizes
• Contribute to and document the shared component library

What youll need

• Hands-on React experience in a real project or production codebase
• Comfortable with TypeScript and modern CSS
• Familiarity with REST API integration on the frontend
• You write tests and care about maintainable code
• Strong async written communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with or another SSR framework
• Figma familiarity for reading design files
