Role: Java Backend Engineer

Exp Range : 4 to 8 years

Work Location : Bangalore(Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Engineer with strong experience in building scalable microservices and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines infrastructure automation and modern DevOps practices. You will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining robust backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java/J2EE
• Build and manage microservices-based architecture
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs
• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build test and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend DevOps QA) in Agile environments
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices
• Troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java / J2EE
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes
• Proficiency with GitHub and version control workflows
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of automation and deployment processes
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
