Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) $50$60/hr Guaranteed Pay School-Based Bennington VT

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position serving middle school students (grades 68) in Bennington Vermont for the school year (starting August 2026).

We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) who are passionate about working in pediatric and school-based settings.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to middle school students
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
  • Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
  • Support students with:
    • Articulation and phonology
    • Receptive and expressive language
    • Social/pragmatic communication skills
    • Fluency and voice disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers special education staff occupational therapists (OTs) and physical therapists (PTs)
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and compliance records
  • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
  • Active Vermont SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Experience or interest in pediatrics school-based therapy or special education preferred
  • Strong communication organization and collaboration skills
