Job Summary
We are seeking a Hospitality Float to support both Housekeeping and Nutritional Services.
In this role you will help create a clean safe and welcoming environment for patients visitors providers and team members. This position offers variety with responsibilities in both housekeeping and food service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms and common areas
- Sweep mop vacuum and restock linens and supplies
- Remove trash and transport soiled laundry
- Prepare plate and deliver meals to patients
- Support patient dietary needs and proper food temperatures
- Restock food and beverage stations
- Assist with food prep for meetings and events
- Record temperatures rotate stock and remove expired items
- Complete daily checklists and maintain quality standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday from 11:30AM - 8:00PM
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
We are seeking someone who is dependable organized and enjoys serving others. Ideal candidates will have:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Previous housekeeping experience food preparation food handling or dietary services experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of infection prevention and food safety practices preferred
- ServeSafe certification preferred
- AHA CPR certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
