STVs Land Development team in Owings Mills is growing and seeking an early-career Landscape Architect who is excited to learn collaborate and contribute to projects that shape campuses neighborhoods and commercial environments across the Baltimore Metropolitan region and beyond.

In this role you will:
Work on diverse highvisibility projects including education mixeduse housing commercial institutional and infrastructurerelated development
Collaborate closely with civil engineers architects and senior landscape architects as part of an integrated design team
Build experience in both design and technical production including site planning planting and hardscape design and permitting
Learn how projects move from concept through construction in a realworld land development setting
Receive guidance and mentorship while gaining increasing responsibility over time
What Youll Do
Support the preparation of presentation materials construction documents permit packages and construction support for land development building and transportation projects
Develop site and landscape designs using Civil 3D AutoCAD and MicroStation with opportunities to contribute creatively and technically
Perform site investigations inventories and analysis to inform design decisions
Design sustainable contextsensitive landscapes including urban sites and onstructure podium environments
Prepare technical documentation calculations and feasibility materials with guidance from senior staff
Coordinate with project managers and design partners to understand project goals schedules and deliverables
Participate in client and agency meetings gaining exposure to professional communication and project coordination
Continue building knowledge of industry tools standards and best practices
What Were Looking For
Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
Licensed Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) (Maryland preferred)
4 years of professional experience in landscape architecture land development or a related field
Strong interest in site planning site analysis and urban design principles
Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD MicroStation SketchUp Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. (Experience with Enscape and Land F/X is a plus)
Working knowledge of Maryland permitting processes (Baltimore City experience is a plus)
Familiarity with the Maryland Forest Conservation Act and native/adaptive plant materials in the Northeastern region
Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from a multidisciplinary team
Field & Site Work
This role includes regular opportunities for fieldwork and site visits which may involve extended periods outdoors (up to 8 hours) uneven terrain and varying weather conditionsbalanced with officebased design and coordination work.

Compensation Range:
